the BEST shoe store
I know of right now
is called “Run With It”
it is specifically for XC and Track
and, they’re new, so they usually
have a few shoes on sale and
they may meet your $45 dollar
range.
when you get there, they measure
your feet and make you walk on
a treadmill so they can determine
what type of foot you have and
what shoes are perfect for your
feet and your sport.
If you don’t have this store in your area,
you should then check out local shoe stores

I like the store road runner sports. They have an after christmas sale right now. Look for the shoes that are going extinct.
